Original Artwork, Convention Sketches & Signed Books
This section is a display of some of the original art pieces and various convention sketches I have collected over the years.
I will also be adding some of my favorite signed books from my collection soon.
STEPHEN PLATT
These were done in 1994 when I hosted the Extreme Studios Super Tour in my comic shop.
This sketch oi "Badrock" was also done during the Extreme Super Tour.
SCOTT HANNA-
Both are from 1995 and a small convention I co-promoted.
A great Vampirella piece.
These sketches were done at the 1997 Pittsburgh Con, and are on the back of the "Vampirella Lives #1" Linen Ed.
This was a preliminary sketch for a "Vamipella Blood Drive" art print.
LARRY WELZ
I am a huge "Cherry" fan, and this item I purchased on eBay. It was a commissioned piece, that was also colored by Welz.
This "Hellstorm" sketch is on the inside cover of "Hellstorm #1" and was done at a small Halloween show.
This was done at the 2001 Pittsburgh Con, and is his rendition of "Cherry" in which he used my tattoo as a reference, being unfamiliar with the character.
Done at the 2001 Pittsburgh Con, this was a gift for my oldest daughter Paige who is a big Sponge-Bob fan.

TERRY MOORE
From the 2001 Pittsburgh Con, the second was for my daughter, and features a young fairy that
Terry was creating a story for.
Drawn during the CBLDF Quick Sketch fundraiser at the 2001 Pittsburgh Con, this gigantic artwork was won by my daughter Paige, which pleased Jeff very much.
NOBLE CAUSES ART
This was won at the Make-A-Wish Charity Auction, and features characters from the Image book, Noble Causes, and signed by the entire creative team.
All original art. Not a print.
BUZZ
Purchased from Buzz, these are original pages from the comic "Horseman" (1996-97 by Kevlar Studios)
This was won by my daughters at the 2002 Pittsburgh Comicon CBLDF Quick Sketch.
MARTIN NODELL
This is an original art piece colored by Martin's wife Carrie. I purchased this in 1994 at the Diamond Dist. Retailer Show in Baltimore Maryland.
I got this done at a small show in Buffalo. Ron did his drawing first, with Mark adding the word balloon for effect!
From the 1996 Pittsburgh Con, this is an original sketch on the "Zero Hour #0" cover, which featured a blank cover.
BILLY TUCCI
The first is on the 1998 England "Art of War Tour Book" and features an original Shi sketch.
The second is from the "Shi: Year of the Serpent Tour Book" and is an original sketch of "Cherry" again, using my tattoo for reference. And it's as close to Larry Welz's art imaginable, considering Billy did not know the character.
(I got him an issue then, and he was instanly hooked!!!)
This is the original card art (with the actual CCG card mounted below) that was purchased at the 2001 Pittsburgh Con Make-A-Wish Charity Auction.
This is huge airbrushed piece of wrestler Mick Foley, that was also signed by Mick. It was purchased directly from Chuck, and the picture does not do it justice. (Sorry!)
DON PEDICINI JR. & ED "PENDRAGON" LANCASTER

The Alice Cooper piece is an original painting by Don, that my wife purchased from him, as a present to me.
The other is an early Ed Lancaster original painting, he did under the name "Pendragon."

of J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings.
This art print was signed by Xena/Hercules actor Robert "Salmoneous" Trebor and the artist.
A terrific "Sandman" drawn during the CBLDF Quick Sketch fundraiser at the 2002 Pittsburgh Con and won by me.
A nice caraciture of my wife Krystal, from Adam English of the rock band Ookla the Mok.

Drawn during the CBLDF Quick Sketch fundraiser at the 2001 Pittsburgh Con by the talented Disney artist. It was won by someone who then gave it to my oldest daughter Paige and features Huey, Duey, and Luey.
Drawn on a convention copy of Witchblade #32 at the 2001 Pittsburgh Comicon.
